The WSD-PDT-W is a wall switch decorator-style passive dual technology occupancy sensor designed for automatic lighting control in commercial and residential spaces. It operates at 120/277 VAC line voltage with a self-contained relay, eliminating the need for an external power pack, and supports an 800W load at 120V and 1200W at 277V. The sensor combines Passive Infrared and patented Microphonics detection technologies for reliable occupancy sensing, with small motion detection up to 20 feet, and features interchangeable hot and load wires to prevent wiring errors while requiring no neutral wire or minimum load. It mounts in a single gang switch box with a self-grounding mounting strap and includes a green LED status indicator, adjustable time delay, and a photocell inhibit feature. This device complies with industry standards for occupancy sensors and is compatible with electronic and magnetic ballasts, CFLs, LEDs, and incandescent lamps, making it suitable for offices, classrooms, and hallways.
