Eaton WMZS-3C40 is a 3-pole molded case supplementary protector designed for overcurrent protection in control panel and industrial applications. This 40-amp unit operates at 480Y/277V AC with a C curve trip characteristic (5-10X In) for inductive loads with medium inrush currents, and provides a 10 kAIC interrupting rating at 480V. The breaker features a compact DIN rail mountable design (35 x 7.5 mm) with a 0.69-inch module width per pole, thermal-magnetic trip-free protection, captive Posidrive screw terminals with IP20 protection, and a red/green contact position indicator. It is certified to UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235, and is compatible with field-installable shunt trip and auxiliary switch accessories. Typical applications include supplementary protection in motor control centers, panelboards, and industrial control systems.
