Appleton TLC3 is a conductive high-temperature thread and joint lubricant formulated for industrial use to prevent seizing, galling, and corrosion on threaded connections. This petroleum-based lubricant contains homogeneous metallic powder in a hydrocarbon agent, providing excellent conductivity and supporting ground continuity while reducing wear and breakage of mating parts. It is effective and stable in temperatures ranging from -73°C to 399°C (-100°F to 750°F) and has a flash point of 404°F. The product meets UL 886 and CSA 22.2 No. 30 standards and is UL listed for Class I, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations. It is designed for use on threaded joints in hazardous location cable glands and connectors, such as the TMC series, to ensure reliable electrical continuity and mechanical integrity.
