General Electric SGHA36AT6500C is a Spectra Series molded case circuit breaker designed for three-phase power distribution and high-amperage industrial protection. This 500A unit operates at a maximum voltage rating of 600V AC and features digital solid-state electronic trip technology with LSI (Long-Time, Short-Time and Instantaneous) protection functions. The three-pole, bolt-on construction weighs 20 lb and utilizes a SG600 frame with field-installable rating plugs for flexible ampere configuration. It is UL489 Listed and delivers an interrupting rating of 35kA at 480V AC, with digital sampling to accurately sense both sinusoidal and nonsinusoidal currents. This breaker is suited for variable speed drives, rectifiers, and other nonlinear loads requiring adjustable short-time and instantaneous trip coordination.
