Permacote REC1210 is a PVC-coated reducing coupling designed to provide a corrosion-resistant transition between rigid galvanized steel conduit sections in harsh environments. This fitting features a 1-1/4 inch to 1 inch trade size reduction, with a nominal 40 mil gray PVC exterior coating and a 2 mil green urethane interior coating over galvanized threads for enhanced protection. The ferrous metal construction includes molded external ribs for easy installation and sealing sleeves on both ends to prevent corrosive ingress, while maintaining electrical continuity across assembled joints. It is UL 6 listed and ETL PVC-001 verified, meeting ANSI C80.1 and NEMA RN-1 standards for reliable performance. This coupling is suitable for both interior and exterior applications where resistance to corrosive liquids and vapors is required.
