Appleton PLG300C is a 3-inch recessed head close-up plug designed for sealing unused threaded conduit openings in hazardous locations. This explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof fitting is constructed from durable malleable iron with a zinc electroplate finish and features tapered MNPT threads for rigid, tight joints and ground continuity. The plug includes smooth, rounded integral bushings in each hub to protect conductor insulation. It complies with UL Standard 886 (1203) and is UL Listed and CSA Certified for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations. Typical applications include sealing conduit openings in industrial environments where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts are present.
