Eaton Crouse-Hinds EYS616 is a 2-inch conduit sealing fitting from the EYS family, designed to prevent the passage of gases and flames through conduit systems in hazardous locations. This fitting accommodates a sealing capacity of 19 cubic inches in vertical installations and 22.75 cubic inches in horizontal installations, with a Group B rating for hazardous environments. Constructed from durable Feraloy iron alloy and/or ductile iron, it features male and female hubs, integral bushings to protect conductor insulation, and large openings with threaded closures for easy access, all finished with electro-galvanized and aluminum acrylic paint for corrosion resistance. It complies with NEC and CEC standards for explosionproof installations. Typical industrial applications include petrochemical plants, refineries, and other facilities requiring secure conduit sealing in classified areas.
