Appleton EYF125AL is an explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight sealing fitting designed to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames in conduit systems. This 1-1/4 inch aluminum fitting provides a secure seal within electrical conduit runs to isolate hazardous areas. It is constructed from copper-free Almag 35 aluminum with an epoxy powder coat for corrosion resistance, weighs 5.19 lb, and features a tapered threaded female connection for vertical or horizontal mounting. The fitting is UL 886 and CSA C22.2 approved for use in hazardous locations. Typical industrial applications include sealing conduit in refineries, chemical plants, and other environments where explosive gases or combustible dusts are present.
