Appleton EYDEF350 is an explosionproof sealing fitting and drain designed to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, and flames through conduit systems in hazardous locations. This fitting is constructed from malleable iron with a 40% fill expanded fill seal, features male to female NPT threaded connections (3-1/2" FNPT x 3-1/2" MNPT), and has an overall length of 9-3/4 inches with a close turning radius of 3.59 inches. It is certified to UL 886 and CSA C22.2 No 30 standards, and is rated for Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups B, C, D; Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations. The fitting is finished with zinc electroplating, chromate, and epoxy powder coating for corrosion resistance, and is suitable for use with RMC and IMC conduit in industrial environments.
