Appleton EYDEF100 is an explosionproof vertical drain sealing fitting designed to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames through conduit systems. This fitting accommodates 1 inch conduit with a 40% expanded fill capacity and features tapered threaded female connections with smooth, rounded integral bushings to protect conductor insulation. Constructed from malleable iron with a triple-coat finish of zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coating for corrosion resistance, it measures approximately 5-1/16 inches in length and weighs 5.19 lb. It is certified to CSA C22.2 No 30, UL 886, and UL 1203 standards for explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof applications in hazardous locations.
