Appleton EXLK312 is a flexible coupling designed for explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and watertight conduit connections in hazardous locations. This coupling features a bronze braid outer layer, brass core with insulating liner, and a 1" trade size with a 12" length, with one female end with a union and one female end with a removable male nipple. It offers heavy-duty construction to resist mechanical abuse and vibration, with smooth, rounded integral bushings to protect conductor insulation and accurately tapped, tapered threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. The coupling is UL 886/1203 and CSA C22.2 listed, rated IP66, and suitable for Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations.
