Appleton ES250200 is an explosion-proof sealing hub designed to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between conduit sections in hazardous locations. This protection/accessory device features a 2-1/2 inch by 2 inch tapered male/female threaded connection and is constructed from zinc electroplated, chromate, and epoxy powder coated malleable iron for corrosion resistance. It measures 3-13/16 inches in length by 3-1/2 inches in height, weighs 5.19 lb, and is suitable for vertical conduit orientation with rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems.
