Appleton EDSC271 is an explosionproof motor control mounting body designed for hazardous locations requiring durable and safe enclosures. It features a 1-gang feed-thru style with two 3/4 inch hubs, constructed from zinc electroplated, chromate, and epoxy powder coated malleable iron for corrosion resistance and durability. This control/pilot device is certified under UL 894 and UL1203, UL Listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C, D; Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III. It is suitable for use with push buttons and selector switches for remote motor control in Class I/II locations.
