Crouse-Hinds EABY16SA is a Condulet EAB series Y-shaped conduit outlet box designed for providing reliable wiring access and protection in hazardous industrial environments. This unit is constructed from durable Feraloy iron alloy and features a 1/2" trade size hub with a 3" cover opening, incorporating a neoprene o-ring gasket and an internal green #10 ground screw for secure grounding and environmental sealing. The smooth integral hub bushing protects conductor insulation during installation, while tapered threaded hubs ensure ground continuity. It is certified for use in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F, G; Class III; II 2 G EEx d IIC T5; PTB 05 ATEX 1052; and meets Enclosure Type 4 and IP66 standards. Typical applications include surface mounting in refineries, chemical plants, and other locations requiring robust, explosion-proof conduit fittings.
