The Altronix AL600 is a power supply/charger designed to convert 115VAC, 60Hz input into a selectable 12VDC or 24VDC output for access control and fire alarm systems. It delivers a continuous output current of 6 amps and features a built-in charger for sealed lead acid or gel batteries with automatic switchover to battery backup at zero voltage drop. The unit includes filtered and electronically regulated output, AC fail and low battery supervision with form "C" contacts, short circuit and thermal overload protection, and visual LED indicators for AC input, DC output, and battery trouble. It is UL and cUL listed for access control (UL 294) and fire protective signaling (UL 1481) systems. This power supply is suitable for powering a variety of security and life safety equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
