General Electric TEY280 is a molded case circuit breaker designed for providing reliable overcurrent and short-circuit protection in industrial and commercial electrical systems. It features a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism for long-time and instantaneous protection, rated for 80A at 480V AC with an interrupting capacity of 14kA. The compact, bolt-on unit measures 2" x 5.25" x 5.25" (50.8 x 133.4 x 133.4 mm) and weighs 1 lb, constructed for operation in temperatures from -25 to 70 °C. It complies with UL and CSA standards and is specifically configured for use in GE AE lighting panels.
